The countdown to the return of The Walking Dead!

Norman Reedus aka Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead

In forty days, my favorite AMC TV show returns....The Walking Dead. Three season later and the momentum has built to bring in more and more viewers. I caught the fever sitting in a hospital flipping three channels at my grandmother's bedside. We watched five episodes together. It was one of the best memories that I remember in the past few years...right up there next to my first experience at New York Comic Con and seeing a Piggly Wiggly sign in North Carolina ( sheer bliss). Daryl Dixon (above) is one of my favorite characters next to Michonne and Merle Dixon. Of all the characters on the show Daryl has turned out to a literal white knight.

He matured from a short tempered loner to a bad ass in 0- 60. His brother Merle was left on a roof and after not finding him , it appeared that Daryl made his peace.

I refer to him as a redeemed character because
  1. Season one: Daryl became an asset to the group after loosing his brother
  2. Season two: He nearly died searching for Sophia when she was lost in the woods.
  3. He brought comfort to Carol in his own way.
  4. It was only fit that he was the person to find her in that room in season 3
I am looking forward to the mid season finale now that Daryl and Merle have found each other (sort of). I wonder what Daryl will become now that the Dixon boys are back together.

Until then, I will finish watching Season 1 episode 4 Vatos.

All I can think of his the look of shock on Merle's face and indifference on Daryl's.

Peace.

2013 will bring good things...

I am looking forward to the new year with open arms.
I feel like 2012 was tragic for everyone.
I spent far too long with a dark cloud over my head.
This year a change is coming for me.
I created this new blog for reflections.
I made my point in the previous blog.
It is unfortunate how a person's race defines how they are perceived in this world.
I felt the need to express myself in that respect to give voice to all my concerns. My blogging technique may not be the most approved method but, it certainly works for me.
Thus is why I decided to start something new.
After 512 blogs.....
On to the next one!!!

Happy reading
